The regional secretary for Lazio is Mr. Steven Taylor.
Steven came to Italy in 1971 on a mad idea of going to University in Rome to read Economics rather than in the UK. He has stayed here ever since, more or less, apart from returning to the UK to do a Masters in Economics at the LSE.
His carreer started in Confindustria's economics department with Guido Carli. He then moved into industry and for the following 23 years was CFO (and more) in many Italian and International multinational companies.
He spent 15 years in Milan as CFO in Courtaulds Italia, Max Meyer Duco, and Digital Equipment, moving then back to Rome as CFO in Alitalia in 1994. Subsequent to this experience he moved to Ivrea as CFO of Olivetti Systems and Services (later to become Olsy).
In 1997 Steven joined Ernst&Young Consulting as a partner with a focus on the Transportation, Energy and Public Adminsitration sectors until the acquisition by CapGemini in 2000. He helped the merger between the two campanies and then in 2003 set up his own consulting company.
Steven today is focused on the aviation sectos running an Aviation Consulting and Business Implementation operation working in Italy and abroad.
Out of a desire to link the UK and Italy together he also set up with his brother in the UK, an Italian wine importing and distribution company for the UK market.
Apart from trying to rivitalise the Rome chapter of the Bristish Chamber of commerce, Steven for the last 12 years, has been Honorary (executive) Chairman of St. George's British International School in Rome, one of the 10 leading International schools in the world.
