Milano - Il 29 gennaio scorso si è tenuto all’ALTIS (Alta Scuola Impresa e società) dell’Università Cattolica il round italiano di Global Social Venture Competition, la competizione ideata e promossa dall’HAAS School of Business dell’Università di Berkeley che premia progetti imprenditoriali sostenibili.
A capo della commissione che ha giudicato i progetti era il Professor Mario Molteni, direttore di ALTIS e ordinario di Economia aziendale e Corporate Strategy presso l’Università Cattolica di Milano e guest of honour del BCCI January Business Lunch svoltosi lo scorso 28 gennaio a Milano. Nella giuria esaminatrice era presente anche il Presidente della BCCI, David Crackett.
Il primo premio è stato assegnato a Joseph Tetteh Quarshie che ha presentato "Greenwaves International", un programma volontario di riforestazione in Ghana che possa innescare un processo virtuoso di lavoro e generare in breve tempo ritorni finanziari.

We are pleased to inform you that the BCCI Milan Business Lunch of last 26th November was carbon neutral thanks to AzzeroCO2.

The emissions produced during the event (The equivalent of about 2 tonnes of CO2) have been offset by purchasing two carbon credits within the emissions trading scheme regarding a carbon reduction project in the Tirunelveli district in the Southern Indian State of Tamil Nadu.
