Italy is an extremely diverse country, where history, culture and habits vary immensely from region to region. This is why local knowledge is essential when doing business in different areas of the country.
The Chamber can provide this essential local knowledge through its network of Regional and Area Secretaries. Besides Lombardy the BCCI is represented in ten different Italian regions by Honorary Regional Secretaries, all active in their local business community. These regions are: Piedmont, Liguria, Emilia Romagna, Veneto, Friuli, Tuscany, Lazio, Puglia, Campania and Sardinia. In addition we have Secretaries for Bergamo and Brescia in East Lombardy and in Novara, Pordenone and Vicenza, as well as a Secretary in London.
Lunches, seminars, wine trips and social pub evenings are organised throughout the year to help promote both the Chamber and its Members in cross cultural business exchanges.
Throughout Italy’s regions change is in the air and new business opportunities continue to emerge. The BCCI is in touch with these evolving scenarios and its Regional Secretaries are ready to provide the advice, insight and support needed
