Herman Miller Inc. is a leading multinational furniture company which was founded in 1923 and is based in Holland, Michigan. Listed on NASDAQ since 1970, Herman Miller is the only office furniture company included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index.

 

The company has a total of 7,000 employees worldwide, 400 of whom are in Europe. Internationally Herman Miller has a presence in 54 countries and reported net trade sales of US$1,749 million in the year 2005/2006.

 

In 1995 Herman Miller purchased the office division of B&B Italia along with its complete range of products. The company has ISO 14001 certification. Based in Milan where it has a showroom and with an office in Rome, Herman Miller has a network of agents and retailers covering most of Italy.
