The relationship between The British Chamber of Commerce for Italy and The British Embassy in Rome is long established as we work together on an almost daily basis to support British businesses in Italy.
The British Embassy in Rome’s mission is to develop the significant and longstanding relationship with Italy to deliver greater prosperity and security for the UK and UK nationals.
The Embassy develops and maintains the strong relations between the United Kingdom and Italy, a country which is partner in many international organisations such as the EU, G8, G20 and NATO. The Embassy cooperates on a wide range of issues including the economy, in particular measures that generate wealth in both countries, commercial regulation in the single market, energy policy and international security. The Embassy also covers San Marino remotely.
The British Embassy in Rome works to improve the relations between scientists and researchers working on innovative projects in Italy and the UK, and has a team dedicated to sharing the British armed forces’ expertise and to developing stronger ties and opening up the military sector to UK commercial contacts.
There are trade offices in Rome, Milan and Naples, while the consular network is based in Rome and Milan and is supported by a network of honorary consuls in major Italian cities. The Consular Section also offer consular assistance to British nationals in San Marino from the consulates in Rome and Milan.
